“Carolyn’s Yoga Pole class was my first foray into the pole dance world and I haven’t looked back since! As an absolute beginner with no experience whatsoever, I truly appreciated Carolyn’s patience and teaching style. You work hard and gain strength and stamina with every class, but it doesn’t seem like that at all because Carolyn has such a kind and gentle disposition in her classes. In just four short weeks I have gained great knowledge about proper hand and foot placement on the pole, safe techniques, and quality stretching exercises to build up strength in the shoulders (which is a blessing for me, having a damaged & “tight” shoulder from a dislocation years ago). I have now expanded into the other pole classes offered at LI Dance Fitness and can honestly say I never thought I would enjoy it this much! For those who are more experienced with pole work, the class will help with your control by perfecting the execution of those “zodiac poses” Carolyn does so well!! A great experience all-around and I would highly recommend this class to everyone!!”
